The mobile app Ixora (hereinafter “Ixora” / “We”) provide this Privacy Policy tobe transparent and assist you in understanding aspects of information which you share with Ixora. By using our Application you signify your assent to this Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your Personally Identifiable Information as described herein. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, or with our Terms of use, do not download, install and / or use the Application.

The Information We Collect

"Personally Identifiable Information" means any information that either on its own or when combined with certain other information can identify an individual and for the purpose of this Privacy Policy is usually limited to your mobile phone number, date of birth, gender, location, contacts etc. We collect some content and other information you provide when you use our Services. For registration through Ixora, you are only required to provide your mobile phone number or your e-mail address, depending on the device(s) you are using on the Service. You may also provide other personally identifiable information, but that is optional. When you log in using your Facebook account, we collect additional information you make available to us.

2. Address Book

If you are not already a user of the Service, when you first install an application on your device, you are invited to register with Ixora and as part of this initial registration, you will be asked to allow us access to your address book. If you consent, we will have access to contact information in your address book on the devices you use for the Service (names, numbers, emails, and Facebook ID, but not notes or other personally identifiable information) and we will store it on our servers and use it to improve the Service and help you use the Service. If you do not want Ixora to store this information, you may opt-out at any time through your account settings in the Ixora mobile app, or in your device’s privacy settings, in which case we will delete that information from our servers. However, in this case, we may not be able to offer some of the features that require this information.

3. Location Information

We may request access to your current location – provided by your mobile device using GPS or similar technologies – so that we can provide content that is more suitable to your location. You are free to accept or block access to your location information. You can switch off access to your location at any time through your mobile device settings.

6. Advertisements

This collection and the subsequent use of this information by these third parties is subject to these third parties' privacy policies over which Ixora has no control.

7. Shared Text, Photos, Videos and Other Communications

The Service allows you to share text messages, photos, videos and other communication with other users, and if you choose to share your text messages, photos, videos and other communication, such items will be stored on our servers in accordance with our data retention policies.

In addition, if you choose to share these items with other Service users, we may not be able to remove them from our servers or make them unavailable to anyone you have shared them with. Sending text messages, photos, videos or other communication through the Service is your decision. By choosing to share that information, you should understand that you may no longer be able to control how that information is used and that it may become publicly available (depending in part on your actions or the actions of others with whom you have shared the information). Ixora is not responsible for any use or misuse of information you share with other users or service provider.

8. Device and Log Information

If you use our Service, we collect information about your device and browser. This may include device information (type of device, operating system version, unique device identifier, browser type and version, mobile network information) or log information (IP address, MAC address, screen resolution, and referring domain).

9. Error Reporting Information

We also collect error-reporting information if the Service crashes or hangs so that we can investigate the error and improve the stability of the Service for future releases. In general these reports do not contain personally identifiable information, or do so only incidentally. As part of these error reports, we receive information about the type and version of your device and browser, the device identifier, the time the error occurred, the feature being used and the state of the application when the error occurred. We do not use this information for any purpose other than investigating and remedying the error.

1. Provide, Improve and Develop Our Services

Werefer to information we have to deliver and enhance our Services, personalize content, and make suggestions to you. For example, we use some registration information to set up a profile page for you; and help you to connect you with friends on Ixora (unless you change this in your settings) - if a Ixora user has your email or phone number in their phone contacts that person can start chatting with you. However a Ixora usercan see your profile page only if that user is a part of any of your Ixora groups.

2. Communicate with You

The information we collect lets us keep you posted on Ixora’s latest product announcements, software updates, relevant advertisements of merchants, upcoming events and any messages you have waiting on Ixora if you haven’t been active for a while.

3. Show and Measure Advertisements and Services

We refer to information to improve our advertising and measurement systems so that we can show you relevant ads on our Services and measure the effectiveness and reach of the advertisements and services.

4. Promote Safety and Security

We may use your information, including date of birth, to verify identity, to determine eligibility to use the Services, and to recommend appropriate Services. We also use information for loss prevention and anti-fraud purposes and to enforce our Terms of Service.

The Information We Share

We may share your information if you ask us to. The information you choose to share on social networking sites is not covered by this privacy policy, and you agree that you are solely responsible for your use of those sites. We do not share, sell or transfer your personal information without your consent, better described below:

1. Third Party Products and Services on Ixora

Ixora advertises the products or services which may be operated by third-party advertisers. When you deal with these third-parties through Ixora, they and other users may be able to see your user profile and sometimes, your approximate location. They may use this information as described in their privacy policies, which can include advertising. We do not share your username or email address with advertisers without your consent.However third party advertisers may use our platform to reach out to you through notifications or emails.

Our site contains links in the form of URLs, Applications or they may be embedded in our site to enable you to visit other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide and they are not governed by this privacy policy. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

2. Our Service Providers

This application also provides a social platform to its users where they have sophisticated chat facilities, listings and promotional offers from the relevant merchant categories(boutiques, salons, jewelers etc.) as per your preferences. Use of such information by our service providers is limited to the information concerning your preferences for which they need to provide services and not your personal information. We also use aggregated non-personal user data to analyse information for providing better services.

3. To Protect Ixora and its Users, or for Legal Purposes

We may disclose your information:

(a) If we think it’s needed to detect, prevent or address illegal activity on our Services, or identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who appears to be causing injury to or interfering with our rights or property or other users;or

(b) As part of a Ixora legal matter or investigation, including an investigation related to a suspected breach of our Terms of Use; or

(c) When we believe that disclosure is required or permitted by law, including when responding to subpoenas, warrants, production orders, or similar instruments; or

(d) If we believe that disclosure is needed to protect your safety or the safety of others, including when there is an emergency involving potential harm, loss of security or serious injury to people or threats of such emergencies.

However, Ixora cannot guarantee security in any way with respect to any Personally Identifiable Information or Contents that you upload transmit, share or display through the Application or the Site and You do so at Your own.Using unsecured or other unprotected networks to send messages and use of other features through the Ixora application is not recommended.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Any changes in the Privacy Policy by Ixora shall be posted on our website and also reflect in our Application to reflect changes in our policy so that the users are always aware of what information we collect, use, and under what circumstances, if any, we may disclose such information. Users should periodically review this page for the latest information on our privacy practices. Once posted, those changes are effective immediately. Continued access or use of the Application constitutes your acceptance to the changes and the amended Policy.

Third Party Product

The Application can also be downloaded from third party application stores including Google Play Store and iTunes Store. You agree to comply with all third party privacy policies, if any, applicable to the use of the Application or related services. Ixora shall not be responsible for your use of any third party product and/or service including the terms and conditions of such third party product and/or service and/or violation and infringement of any third party rights, policies, terms and conditions in connection with access, download or installation of the Application.
